Who we are
Jesus Walkers is a community of women who gather to walk, talk and pray. We believe faith grows in ordinary moments — on sidewalks, in parks, and around the neighborhood — when we do life shoulder to shoulder.
What started as a few women walking together in Hanahan, South Carolina, has become a rhythm of community, movement and prayer. We show up as we are, share what is really going on, and close each walk by lifting one another up.
Every chapter is led by a woman who has already walked faithfully with Jesus Walkers and is ready to carry the same culture forward: warm, consistent, faith-centered and open to every woman regardless of age or pace.
We are not a fitness program, a church or a Bible study. We are simply sisters in Christ, choosing to walk together instead of alone.
“Starting the day with community, movement and prayer…well there is just nothing like it! It sets the tone for my day and reminds me that whatever that day brings, I don't have to handle it alone.”
Everything starts with Jesus. We pray, we encourage one another in truth, and we remind each other who is really in control.
You don't have to keep up. We walk at a conversational pace so every woman — every age, every season — belongs.
Same time, same place, week after week. Showing up is how trust is built and how burdens get shared.
No fees, no pressure, no performance. Just women who know we are all sinners begging for bread, walking it out together.
Whether you are looking for a chapter near you or sensing a call to start one in your own city, we would love to hear from you.
