Questions & answers

You asked, we answered.

Everything you need to know before joining a walk or starting a chapter.

01

What is Jesus Walkers?

Jesus Walkers is a women's faith-based walking community. We gather to walk, talk about life and pray for one another. It is free, judgment-free and open to women of every age and pace.

02

Do I need to be athletic or fit?

Not at all. We walk at a conversational pace. Some women power-walk, others stroll. The goal is community, not cardio — though you might get a great sweat as a bonus.

03

What do we talk about on a walk?

Anything and everything. Kids, marriage, work, struggles, joys, prayer requests. Nothing is off-limits when we are walking as sisters in Christ.

04

Is this a church, Bible study or ministry?

No. Jesus Walkers is not a church or formal Bible study. We are simply women who love Jesus choosing to walk and pray together. Many of us are part of local churches, but this community stands on its own.

05

What should I bring?

Just yourself, a pair of walking shoes and maybe water. No prep, no homework, no performance. Show up as you are.

06

Can I bring my kids?

Each chapter sets its own culture. Some walks are kid-friendly, others are not. Reach out to the chapter lead to ask what works best for her group.

07

Is there a cost?

Nope. Jesus Walkers is completely free. We believe community should be as accessible as a walk around the block.

08

How do I start a chapter in my city?

We ask that you have walked consistently with an existing chapter first, then fill out the chapter lead application. We will pair you with a lead, help you pick a route and add your chapter to the site.

09

What if there is no chapter near me?

You can still be part of the story. Pray about starting one, share the idea with a few friends, and email us when you are ready to take the next step.
